Wessex 4x4 Response welcomes enquiries from the local and national press via its press officer press@wessex4x4response.org.uk

"Wessex 4x4 response have helped numerous people and services in the last ten days. Much of what they have done is to support routine outreach work such as taking community nurses out to refill morphine dispensers and filters on dialysis machines, and transporting midwives. If this work isn't carried out, it will mean that an ambulance may need to be called. Wessex 4x4 response have assisted lots of key A&E staff and ambulance staff to attend work, making sure that essential services had the staff to keep running. Wessex 4x4 response has also been called out to assist ambulances that have become stuck in the snow and was called to assist a vehicle that was carrying transplant organs (although the vehicle did manage to free itself under its own steam).

The organisation have been essential back up for the health service, allowing it to keep delivering services to many people"
