Lending a Hand at D-Day Commemorations in Weston-super-Mare

On 6th June, Wessex 4×4 Response was proud to play a role in the D-Day commemorations held in Weston-super-Mare. This year’s event held special significance, marking the 80th anniversary of the historic invasion.

Our Wessex 4×4 Response members assisted with transporting individuals up to Uphill, ensuring everyone could participate in the meaningful ceremony. Among those we assisted were the  Mayor and council officials, along with the local vicar.

The Importance of Community Support:

These events serve as a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made by those who fought for our freedom. Wessex 4×4 Response is committed to supporting our local community, and this was a perfect opportunity to lend a helping hand.
